Nestled in the Rio Copan Valley are the quaint village of
Copan Ruinas and the magnificent Maya Ruins of Copan.


Cobblestone streets and adobe buildings
make up
this picturesque village of Copan Ruinas.


The Maya ruins of Copan are amazing. I learned
so many interesting facts about this culture.

The Ball Court and Hieroglyphic Stairway in
the Grand Plaza were some of my favorites.


The Temple of Inscriptions was important
to Copan's last ruler, Yax Pac.


Copan is famous for its detailed art. These stelae are amazing!

this culture.
