Dolphins of Roatan
...from the jounals of CW Bryant

Check out the potholed road that runs through the
beach village of West End on Roatan.

West Bay beach has some of the best snorkeling on the island!

... and there are great places to kayak, like Half Moon Bay.

We're headed through mangrove swamps to snorkel
the "Big Bight" a ship wreck. It was great fun

The Roatan Parrot is found only on the island of Roatan.

The snorkeling is awesome! It was fun playing water-tag
with a couple of cuttlefish.

This barracuda has an attitude... he doesn't back down.

I had the best time playing with Ced, Rita, Enzo, Gee Gee and Boomer.
Ced had a few surprises in store for me. She was quite frisky.

This trip was the greatest! I'm here relaxing
in my hammock overlooking Half Moon Bay.

Travel with CW to the Island of Roatan, Honduras in the Summer '98 issue...

Tips, Tricks & Tactics

Camping the Great Outdoors
...ideas to consider

"Since that first camping trip, all of our trips have been only partially planned, with itineraries set more as ideas than as fixed schedules.  We usually take each day one at a time, and do whatever feels right for that particular day.  Slowing down to smell the roses has never been so sweet as when we travel with our two kids!"  -- David, Westminster, MD

Take it from David, there's a time to plan and a time to take one day at a time.
