Pet Travels

E-mail Print PDF

Hey kids,

How would you like to take your pooch along on your family vacations? Sound like a great idea?
Cody and I took Sukuma “dog traveler,” our Shepherd-Malamute mix, now almost 2 years old and well over 100 pounds on a week-long drive along Oregon’s beautiful coast last summer.  Don’t know who had more fun!!   (I’ll share that adventure with you in an upcoming issue.)
But, I was surprised to find many hotels that accepted pets.  And, how accommodating people and staff were at several attractions along the way.  Traveling with your pet is more popular than ever--now, we don’t have to leave Fido at home or in the kennel!
When planning your next “family, not excluding dog” trip, take a look at the newsletter, DogGone.  It offers a lot of fun places to go and cool stuff to do with your dog.

        ...Happy “Dog” Travels!
